AI Fraud Detection

It catches the suspect payout. You decide its fate.

The AI operator reviews your recent conversions, clusters the suspect ones into fraud cases, and scores each from signals it can show you. You review the evidence and decide what happens to the money. Held conversions stay out of payout until you release them, so nothing pays out silently.

Rules and evidence, not a black box. The score is computed in code, the AI only explains it.

Fraud cases

It clusters the suspect conversions into cases

The fraud job looks across your recent conversions, groups the suspect ones by subject, an affiliate, an IP /24 subnet, a Sub ID, or an offer, and opens one case per subject. Each case carries the signals that fired, a plain-language summary, an evidence timeline, and the money at risk. It is one living case per subject: when the operator sees that subject again, it refreshes the case rather than opening a second.

  • One case per subject: affiliate, IP /24 subnet, Sub ID or offer, most severe first
  • A severity band, Low, Medium or High, read straight off the deterministic score
  • The money at risk, how many conversions were flagged, and how many are currently held
  • A plain-language summary from the AI, treated as a lead to review, never a verdict

Signals, not a black box

Every point on the score is a rule you can see

The score is calculated in code from the signals, so the same facts always give the same number. The AI writes the summary; it never sets the score. Open a case and you see the score out of 100 and each signal that fired, with its value and the points it added, so you can check the operator's reasoning against your own data.

  • IP /24 subnet clustering and the same IP and device repeated across conversions
  • Click-to-conversion too fast, bot-flagged clicks, and a high share of duplicates
  • A single Sub ID dominating volume, blocked or mismatched geo, and conversions with no matching click
  • Conversion velocity and conversion-rate outliers against the offer's other affiliates

You keep the keys

You decide what happens to the money

A held conversion is kept out of payout until you release it, so the operator can flag risk without ever moving money on its own. Review the evidence, give a verdict, and decide: hold the suspect conversions, release them back into the payable set, or record a clawback recommendation for what was already paid.

  • Release holds puts conversions back into payout, the only money action here, and it only adds money back
  • Confirm fraud or Dismiss sets the case status; both are final, and a case can be reopened
  • Mark the case Fraud or Not fraud with a reason to teach the operator for similar patterns
  • Recommend clawback records a recommendation only: it writes no invoice and moves no money
Reversible

Holds only pause the payout

Releasing is reversible and only ever adds money back, so a false positive costs an affiliate nothing but a short wait.

Grant-gated

On only when you want it

AI Fraud is enabled per account by LimeliJourney. Its autonomy level is yours: run it as an advisor that only recommends, or let it place holds hands-off.

See it on your own conversions.
